All shaped cut punching tools (e.g. cantilevered hole, slot hole, square, rectangle) can be installed both lengthwise and crosswise to the machine in the punching units that are equipped with an integrated hold-down clamp. The pair of mounting plates on which the punching units are mounted is set up at the factory for the desired hole pattern (= number and distance of the holes from the edge of the sheet and from each other). The punching process is triggered by a movable foot switch.
